I have 6 years of caregiving experience with a family. The mom had kidney failure and diabetes and the dad had Parkinson's Disease and both were wheel chair bound. One of the son's also had severe mental health issues too. I did house cleaning and repairs, shopping, laundry, computer support and frequent transportation. I also managed the house financially when the mom was in the hospital for 10 months. I did minimal cooking as they were already set up with meals-on-wheels for lunch and ordering take-out for dinner. Personal care for dad included changing diapers, personal cleaning, medication management and sometimes showering. They had another psw who came twice a week just to bath them. I also taught the other son to drive and get his license.
