About Frida

I volunteered with an AmeriCorps program called City Year the year after I graduated High School, 2015-2016. I was trained to tutor and mentor middle school aged children. Our focus was to provide tutoring to children who could not receive that attention otherwise (big classes, not enough teachers), as well as general classroom support. Additionally, I volunteered as a teacher's assistant every summer from 2011-2015 at AHISD Howard Early Childhood Center and Woodridge Elementary. I worked with children ages 4-9 throughout the years. Classes were oftentimes ESL. I babysit and have nannied in the past. I am bilingual. I am looking for a summer job while off of college.
