I really can't say enough about how lucky we were to find Evea- she has been so fantastic with our daughter and the little boy we nanny-share with this past year. The ONLY reason we are saying goodbye is that we really feel like our daughter is ready for preschool, in large part to having spent a year of growth and developing under Evea's care. She is deeply compassionate and really approaches kids on their level, finding ways to connect and engage with them. She encourages them to explore, giving them agency in what they want to do while still keeping a structure to their day. My daughter runs to the door when Evea gets here, and they spend the day going on walks, singing, reading, playing music and making up games. She navigates all the big feelings with so much love, which can be a lot when you have two toddlers who know their Moms are working just a few feet away. We will be sad to see her go and and can't promise we won't try to steal her back when we have our next child!
