About Erica

I began caring for kids with my older sister when I was 11, and over the last decade and a half I have cared for children of all ages, pets, and homes. Not only do I have the technical part of childcare down - I'm CPR certified, allergy-aware, and a dedicated sunscreen user, but I also thoroughly enjoy all of the fun and creativity that childcare brings to my life. I've lead crafting classes, held enjoyable math tutoring sessions, and choreographed the silliest dances ever. I grew up in a big family in Northern California, mostly playing with the dogs and building fairy houses. After earning a BS in Community Development and Human Rights from UC Davis in 2021, I solo traveled around South America for 4 months. I moved to Seattle over 2 years ago, and I currently work full time in administration for an engineering firm, but I'm looking to care for some kids in the evenings and weekends to save some cash for future travels, and to get to enjoy the fun minds of kids!
