About Erica

Hello! My name is Erica - I am a 28-year-old PhD student in sustainable agriculture who misses working with kids! Before grad school, I taught elementary hands-on environmental education, spent several years camp counseling at overnight summer camps with k-12 and adults with special needs, and worked as an autistic support teacher. I am also an active caregiver for my 3 and 5-year-old niece and nephew (and have been since they were infants). I am comfortable with infants to adults, have a reliable car and am happy to help with transportation and grocery shopping, have several years of teacher-training, love all kinds of animals (especially big dogs!), and prefer doing as many outdoor/hands-on activities with kids as possible.
