About Tenzin

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, patient, and responsible. I like working with kids because it keeps me on my toes and they are a joy to be around. Having worked a full time office job, I have had more fun working with kids and being a support pillar for them as they grow and learn. I'm looking for a job that can provide me a consistent schedule whether it is one day a week, or everyday. I started working with kids when I was a senior in HS volunteering at the local Tibetan school tutoring kids ages 6-15. I started nannying three kids during my freshmen year of college (a 1-year-old and 6-year-old twins). I worked for MSCR as a camp counselor for kids K-5 and nannied for several families since then, all with 2-4 kids. In my spare time, I like to do DIY projects, graphic + interior design, and spending time with family! One thing you should know about me is I am a hard worker. My skills include active enrichment, understanding a child's needs/problem solving, and patience!
