About Emily

Hi there! My name is Emily and I'm currently finishing up my MA degree at the University of Chicago and searching for a nanny opportunity during the summer months while I search for full-time employment. Between undergrad and graduate school, I worked at a nonprofit organization doing program management as well as held other customer service roles and a part-time nanny position. I have previous experience working with children as both a babysitter/nanny and a tutor. Most recently, I nannied for a family for 8 months (25-30hrs a week) prior to moving to Chicago to pursue graduate school. I am great with children (infant to teen years) and extremely reliable, empathetic, organized, clean, patient & attentive. I also do not smoke and am CPR certified. I do not have my own form of transportation with me in Chicago, but I do have a clean driving record. With me, children will always receive proper care and care that is up to parent/guardian standards.
