Dear family, Your profile has sparked my interest; please allow me to share with you some of my background. I have been working in childcare for over 15 years. During that time I have spent several years teaching preschool and as an active nanny for multiple, individual families. I have personal experience with all ages, including infants, (primarily) toddlers, and school-age children. I hold several current certifications for use in Early Childhood Education, including First Aid and CPR. I am ready and willing to change locale and provide my own insured vehicle. I have a clean driving record and an impeccable background check. Some of what I do includes: - Taking children on educational and fun outings. - Working flexible hours (overnights, travel, and extended stays included). - Tutor and assist with homework. - Preschool/Prekindergarten basics including imaginative play and stimulating learning activities. - Schedule and host play dates, attend play groups, and caregiver/child classes. - Cook and prepare nutritious, child-friendly meals. - Help with household errands, such as grocery shopping and laundry. Rates begin at $22 per hour. I am negotiable if living arrangements are included. I have lived in Arizona, New York, and am currently residing in Seattle, WA. (Though, I am dying to follow my heart back to New York). I am spunky and energetic and am passionate about cultivating the vast amounts of creativity that children possess. I love music, drama, dance, art, foreign languages, reading, and travel. I hold a current passport and know bits of several languages, including Early Childhood ASL.
