About Emily

Hello! My name is Emily, and I'm a graduate student pursuing my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. My goal is to become a licensed professional counselor (LPC and LCPC) specializing in providing therapeutic services to children and adolescents. Before embarking on my graduate journey, I gained invaluable experience as an assistant clinician at a therapeutic clinic. There, I worked closely with children aged 3-9, many of whom had autism. My background includes experience in ABA, NDBI, and DIR therapy. I hold a bachelor's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign. As a babysitter, I would describe myself as caring, empathetic, playful, dependable, punctual, hardworking, and fun-loving. I believe in creating an engaging and stimulating environment for children while ensuring their safety and well-being. I am passionate about helping children become the best version of themselves.
