About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily, and I am an optimistic, patient, and understanding 26-year-old female. I am a graduate of the University of South Carolina Honors College with a BA in Economics and a BA in Criminology. I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. I am currently on a hiatus from my career and seeking tutoring opportunities. Typically, I work in Washington, DC where I am the head of federal policy for an association. I am the youngest registered lobbyist in American history, and I give significant credit to my education for my accomplishments thus far. I believe knowledge is power, understanding creates confidence, and positive encouragement fosters independence. Due to my hiatus, I am fairly flexible with timing and days, however, I recommend fixed tutoring times to ensure consistency for the student. I am happy to meet at your home or a third party location. I look forward to hearing from you and catalyzing a love of learning for your student.
