My very first job, I worked in a daycare as an assistant teacher for newborns and worked my way up into higher ages. I worked at Grace Christian Childcare with Carol H as the supervisor & she later opened up her own business, His Village Resource Center. I worked at her after school child care as an assistant teacher & I developed various after school activities for the children. This facility was Christian based and we taught the children praise and worship in a fun way. I helped with preparing breakfast, snack and lunch for the children and homework. I originally went to college to become a Pediatrician, but things changed and my major focused on Psychology. Child development and family counseling was my area of study & hopefully I will get to graduate one day. Children are my passion and I absolutely love them!

Experienced With All Ages, Including Infant Twins!
I was a live-in nanny for twin infant girls (from the time they were 4 weeks to 10 months old). I was recently a nanny for 2 young brothers for 2. 5 years until the family relocated. I was also a camp counselor and took large groups of kids on field trips and supervised them daily. I have 2 younger siblings that I would babysit at home alone since I was about 12. I always babysat for friends and neighbors and have supervised large and small groups of children at a church. I have been working with children in all types of environments ever since I can remember. I have a Bachelor's degree in psychology (my GPA was a 3. 83) and want to counsel children after graduate school. I also have experience in tutoring children, so if your children need help with homework or you are homeschooling them I am more than able and willing to help. I have a clean background check. I was a summer camp counselor for teens from May 9, 2014 - Aug 9, 2014. My schedule is pretty much open and flexible.

Hello! My name is Tynaiza and I am a 23-year-old fourth grade math and science teacher. I have been babysitting now for approximately four years. I thoroughly enjoy my job as a teacher and working with kids outside of school through tutoring, babysitting, or nannying. I am currently a graduate student at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte pursuing my Masters degree in Elementary Education. In my spare time (whenever I have any), I enjoy spending time with my friends and boyfriend, exploring vegetarian recipes and restaurants in the area, watching movies, hanging out with my students out side of school, and spending time with my dog. Speaking of my dog, I love animals and would be super excited to babysit a child who also has a pet as an added bonus. I have CPR/First Aid certified and am willing to provide transportation if needed. I have found amazing families through Care. com and I hope yours is the next!

I have over 10 + years as a nanny/babysitter for children ages 3 weeks to middle school age. I have worked professionally in various roles, but I have realized that taking care of children is more rewarding than anything else. I have a positive, compassionate, fun-loving, caring personality that shines through when I am around children. I am also extremely patient and trustworthy. Recently, I have been a nanny for infants, and a family with a 5-year-old and a 6-year-old. Infant care includes feeding, age appropriate developmental activities (face recognition, tummy time, playing, taking walks, etc.). When the children have reached the toddler age, we work on walking, playing inside and outside, reading, and object identification. As the children get older--we play board games, go to the library, park, arts and crafts, swimming, taking walks, playing outside (sports/riding bikes). I don't have children of my own, so babysitting and being a nanny is a true pleasure for me. I love to laugh, have fun, play make-believe, build forts, any type of activities the children enjoy. As the children get older, I believe in educational activities when under my care. I help the children with their reading/writing skills and any homework from school. I don't like to watch TV when I am taking care of kids. The only time I watch TV with the children is when the kids/parents specially state they would like to watch a TV show and/or movie. I also love to be outside, whether it be taking walks with infants to playing games outside (including parks)--all are very desirable to me. Additionally, I am extremely comfortable working with multiple children of all ages. The ability to multitask is critical, especially with more than one child. I see myself as an extension of the parents. Any type of discipline, activities, etc. that the parent instills--it is my job to "mirror" the values the parents demonstrate on a daily basis. My availability is very flexible. I can work days/nights/weekends and even overnight care. I have my own car so can provide transportation to and from activities, dropping off/picking up from school, and taking "field trips". I also will help with any type of housekeeping/meal preparation/errands the family may need. I love animals of all types, especially dogs! I have one of my own--so I am very comfortable with them. I will also take care of your animals if you wish! Those families of which I have been a nanny, I still take care of their children on a regular basis. I form strong relationships with the children and families I have worked for. The children who are now school age--I have been with them for over 4 years. The infants I most recently took care of on a daily basis--are now 2 years old and I am still their main "babysitter" on the nights/weekends/overnight care. I've loved seeing them grow from the baby stage to the school age stage. I would be able to provide several references from these families, specifically, and others that I sit for on an as-needed basis. I hope to hear from you soon! Upon meeting, you will see that I have a genuine love for children and will treat them with the care and compassion that you provide every day. Thank you very much for your consideration.
