About Elsa

I am Elsa. I am a certified, public school teacher with 13+ years of experience with a special interest in Math, Language: English and Spanish, learning, cognition & development. I have experience working with students of multiple abilities including mid and high functioning learners with ASD, and ADHD. I can assist your child with homework as well as assess the learner to identify his/her skills and learning gaps before developing a plan of study that supports academic and developmental growth. I am experienced implementing the "nurtured heart approach," and mindfulness strategies that encourage children to emotionally regulate, improve their social skills and reach developmental milestones. I define myself as a loving, responsive and patient caregiver with strong problem solving skills. I have a reliable car, a clean driving record, no criminal record and I am fully vaccinated for COVID. I love dogs. I look forward to discussing your needs and my experience.
