About Ellen

I have over 25 years of experience in education, childcare, home visiting, and parent support. I am a mother of two teenagers, one of whom has autism. I currently work part time in an early childhood program as a home visitor and parent support provider. I am looking to supplement that job or if the right position comes along, to change positions. At this time, I am only available for part-time care (up to 25 hours per week). While my availability for evening and weekends is very limited due to my family's needs, I would be open to talking with families in close proximity to my hometown for occasional nights or weekends. I am very educated in the field of early childhood with a master's degree in early childhood and special education. I believe in providing children with sensitive and nurturing care with language rich and creative activities throughout their day. I love taking care of children and watching them learn and grow.
