About Elizabeth L

Hello! I've been a teacher for 14 years in both the public and private sector. I've taught middle school English and Spanish as a puglic school classroom teacher, and I currently work at a private school as a literacy teacher in a 1:1 setting for students with learning differences (including ADHD, Dyslexia, and Autism). I've worked as an ACT and GED test prep tutor as well. I've been trained in a variety of teaching methods, such as SRSD, Keys to Literacy, and All Kinds of Minds. I have some familiarity with the Orton Gillingham program. I'm a caring, patient, kind and understanding tutor. I believe personal connections and positive reinforcement are the key to a successful tutoring relationship.
