About Elizabeth

Hello! My name is Liz, and I am a VA certified teacher. II have been an ESL teacher who focuses on reading for the past 7 years. I just finished my Masters as a Reading Specialist at the University of Virginia. I believe that every child can learn, and I specialize in striving readers who struggle with decoding, fluency, spelling, and phonemic awareness. I will create a specialized plan for your child based on the Literacy Council's findings on the components of literacy, with a specialized focused on phonics.
