About Drashe

Hi, my name is Drashé (I go by Shay)! I have 10 years of experience working neurotypical children and children on the spectrum. My passion for working with kids began in high school as an after school/ date night sitter. I worked as a lead 2-year-old teacher at a daycare and from there I graduated to behavior therapy where I trained to work with behaviors associated with autism. I have worked with children ages birth to 12 and am also CPR/ first aid certified! I am currently training to be a doula and plan on becoming a certified birth doula. I have reliable transportation, and I do not smoke. I am very prompt and I believe that set routines help children learn and gives them a sense of autonomy. I don't mind pets, light house work (washing dishes, tidying up, folding laundry, preparing meals etc..) and some errands. I'm a dog mom to a mini poodle and in my spare time I love to read, I am well versed, open minded, structured and very patient. Thank you for your time and consideration!
