I've had the pleasure of assisting in the care of an active 86-year-old lady (dementia) in Hiram, Ga for 2.5 years. Unfortunately, she has relocated to an assisted living facility which has created my search for a new client. Also, for the last 16 months I have cared for a 91-year-old gentleman living in Locust Grove, Ga. This was a weekend/live-in position (Fri.-Mon. 24hrs.) I provide all services for him (stroke/dementia), including Hoyer lift, catheterization, colostomy changes, etc. I began my service after realizing the need while caring for my parents. It has given me great pleasure hoping I have helped someone's day go a little better. I am an early retired corporate professional. I developed a successful small caretaker/housekeeping & errand service six years ago. I focus on senior communities. I provide excellent references from clients/families & property managers that I service (see references with application). I have experience in all household chores while assisting in clients' personal needs. This includes cleaning, laundry, light meals, doctor's appointments, grocery & casual shopping, hair appointments, etc. I provide all services and have experience in scheduling & overseeing in-home care assistance for therapy & personal care. I do not require contracts and am flexible to my clients' schedules. For six years, I have maintained a small regularly scheduled client base providing all services myself.
