About Rachel

My most recent babysitting experience was taking care of a newborn and her two older sisters (3 and 6 years old). I fed the baby, changed her diapers, kept a regimented sleep/waking cycle, sang to her, read her books, and recorded any irregularities in bowel movements or behavior due to changes in formula. I took the older sisters to the park, cooked for them, tutored them in math, reading, and writing, and put them down for naps. I always made sure to clean up after the kids and wash the dishes. I have worked for this family since August 2019, but have just returned home to Michigan after graduating college in Boston and am looking to care for another family. I have babysat for boy triplets, families with dogs, kids with diabetes (monitor blood sugar/what they eat), and a child with down syndrome. In undergrad, I majored in Neuroscience with a strong emphasis in developmental psychology, planning to go to med school. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to ask me!
