About Delia

Hello my name is Delia and I am from San Diego! I am a second-year student at UCSC, majoring in Statistics and Cognitive Science. I have had experience babysitting and tutoring three families back in San Diego and can always provide references for comfortability. My strongest skills when it comes to working with kids include communication, patience and flexibility. I prioritize active listening to understand the needs, concerns, and preferences of each child. Additionally, I can effectively convey instructions, and provide explanations. I understand that working with children requires patience, and I consider it one of my strongest skills. Having a high level of adaptability enables me to quickly adjust to changing circumstances and meet the evolving needs of the children. I am flexible in adapting my approach, activities, and routines to accommodate individual preferences. My hours are flexible!
