About Debra

Hi, I'm Debbie, and I do really love spending time with Seniors. I've been a hospice volunteer for 5+ years and have received training and certification from Sharp Hospice. It makes no difference to me what age, challenges, or limitations a person may have. Everyone I work with gifts me with their unique experience and life story, and it's an honor to be a part of it. I'm terribly inquisitive and enjoy getting people to share their stories. It's surprising how much a country girl from Pennsylvania has in common with women and men who grew up in vastly different circumstances. I love reading to people, playing games, watching TV, sitting quietly, or simply visiting. I'm also a big animal lover and get along very well with pets. I'm friendly and personable, at ease with myself and others. My friends love my dimples and tell me they always feel happier after spending time together. Probably because I'm authentic (as are they) and love to laugh. I'd love to hear from you!
