I have 10 years of experience and have cared for clients with diagnoses such as respiratory failure, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, and muscular dystrophy. I provided assistance to clients who had mobility disabilities by helping them move to and from their beds or chairs. This included using mechanical lifts, walkers, and sliding boards. I also made sure to prepare any assistive devices they required. In addition, I can lend a hand with meal preparation and help with personal hygiene, including tasks like oral hygiene, shaving, showering, bed baths, wound care, and monitoring glucose levels.
