About Daniel

I have worked in special education for the last 10 years and am dual certified in Special Education and History. I have experience working with adolescents with emotional / behavioral disabilities. Most recently I have been teaching in middle school (grades 7 and 8) special education inclusion and co-teaching ELA and math. Previously, I worked with students from grades 5 to 12 and have experience teaching / co-teaching History and Science. In the past I have worked tutoring students individually, or in small groups, at the middle school and high school level. Even though my certification is in Special Education and History I have experience teaching and tutoring students in ELA. In addition to tutoring in academics I also hold a 2nd degree black belt in Shorin-Ryu Karate and offer either private or small group instruction in karate and martial arts. As of April 10, 2021 I am fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
