About Damaris

Hello! My name is Damaris. In the past, I have volunteered in a kindergarten- second grade classroom at Glen Haven ES. I've assisted teachers with grading paperwork, helped students complete class work/homework, assisted on field trips, organized classrooms, and created projects. I have also babysat my nieces and nephews ranging from new borns to 14 years old (including a set of twins). Lastly, I have volunteered as my church's youth group leader where I have also created projects, lessons, and meals/snacks for children. Over all, I have about 9 years of experience. I love creating comfortable and enjoyable environments where children can be children. All while allowing them to have fun, be creative, be responsible, be respectful, learn something new, and being safe. Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my profile.
