About Cris

I am interested in working with seniors mainly due to my own personal experience with the elderly coupled with my passion for helping others. My experience comes from joyfully investing my time in the care of my mother who suffers from Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD). I have taken care of her since the beginning of her degenerative illness. As a compassionate care giver I exhibit a strong capacity for understanding their needs and limitations. I have core skills in scheduling and reminding people about their medications, being very cautious with the instructions and contraindications. My experience has also taught me the importance of being able to maintain conversations of a vast variety. Most importantly, I understand the respect we all owe to the elderly and their special needs, interests, likes, dislikes and limitations. I am a very curious, active, intelligent person, and a committed hard worker. Your loved ones will be well cared for with patience, tenderness and respect.
