About Colleen

I have been working as a tutor since high school, where I was employed as an ESL tutor after school. Throughout college, I worked as a tutor for other students in my class as well as elementary school children around Storrs, CT. I love teaching and working with children and hope to keep this as part of my daily work. Distance learning has been a unique niche I have been able to work in. While schools got shut down, I worked as an online tutor for a family in Mass. I coordinated classwork with their teacher and created a daily schedule for two elementary school girls. This was a neat experience, and was something I believed helped the students as much as their parents. I graduated college in just three years and began grad school right away. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm kind of a smart cookie! I'd love to be able to assist your child with homework as well as to help them develop study and learning strategies that they can carry with them throughout their educations.
