About Colette

It is hard to imagine a better caregiver for my mother than Colette. She was outstanding from the start. She is compassionate and attentive, as any caregiver should be. But she is adept at responding to my mother's specific needs, moods and cognitive ability. In particular, Colette is good at carrying on a conversation with her, making it seem fluid and natural, despite my mom's difficulty communicating. Colette is punctual and respectful, as well as a real bright spot in my mom's day. She has helped her bathe, prepared her meals, administered her meds, among other things. Colette is very good at crafts and engaging my mother with various activities. She has occasionally also watched our two children, combining activities with them and my mother. Sadly, we think it is now necessary to move my mother to a memory care assisted living facility. But we will always remember with great fondness her time with Colette.
