About Clarice

I'm looking for a PT nanny/teaching position for a loving family. I'm 25 years old and live in Asheville, NC. This past Spring I was awarded a K-6 teaching license and a BA in Spanish from unca. With everything being so up in the air due to the pandemic, I decided to put off applying for FT teacher jobs, but I am looking for other ways to educate and be around little ones. With the governor's announcement in regards to schools in the upcoming school year, I saw a market for nannies with teaching skills that could enhance the virtual curriculum while also providing one-on-one support to meet a child's specific learning, social, and emotional needs. I believe in a whole-child approach to education. I draw from my time abroad and my yoga teaching coursework to intentionally create an environment of open-mindedness, empathy, compassion, and respect. I also believe in the importance of kids being active and getting outside. Thanks for your consideration!
