I graduated last May with a BA in Art and Art History. While in college I taught workshops in technical and creative filmmaking skills such as cinematography and editing. I also took classes in economics and statistics alongside being a student tutor for introductory microeconomics. In high school I was part of a program which involved senior class members teaching a large portion of the 7th and 8th grade health and ethics curriculum. That experience was essentially a teaching boot camp. While it taught me how to plan a lesson and construct a curriculum, finding modes of communication and teaching styles that work for each student--that drives me as a tutor.
