Hello, my name is Charisse. I am a Teacher by Profession only seeking occasional babysitting. I am a loving, sweet and nurturing person. I have a true passion for working with children. I reside in Westchester County. I have an outstanding driving record and I own my own vehicle. I have been teaching for 16 years in Westchester County. I have taught Special Education and General Education (Elementary Level) which is what I currently teach. I have been working with children longer than my career. I always knew I wanted to work with children since I was young. I started volunteering my summers at daycares while in middle school and in college I babysat. My range of children that I have worked with are from ages 4-14 including twins, multiple siblings and children with special needs. I also tutor elementary age children from ages 3-12 in Mathematics and ELA. I would love to making a lasting difference in the life of your child/children as I do everyday in my classroom.

I would strongly recommend Charisse to any family that needs after school help like us. She worked with our family for an extended period of time in between au pairs. She was able to build a connection with our girls in a very short period of time. She was able to build a strong connection with us parents quickly as well. As an elementary school teacher, homework help with her was an extension of their classroom and they kept on learning after school. She knows how to motivate and encourage kids to do things (for example their activities when they are not having a great day) and be responsible for their work and chores. She maintains open communication and is extremely reliable which is truly peace of mind for working parents. She was very understanding and accommodating of our often changing daily schedule and needs. We are very happy we met her and will certainly keep in touch.
