About Catelyn

Hi there! My name is Cate and I am a 22-year-old recent college graduate. I got my degree in Political Science, but throughout college I took a bunch of early child development/education courses to learn more! My favorite age group is toddler/pre-k, but I have experience with kids from newborns to 17. I am looking for a short term position from mid June to mid-late August because I will be heading to law school in September! I have my own car with a perfect driving record, and I have both CPR/infant CPR and first aid training. Additionally, I was a beach lifeguard so I am comfortable supervising swim. My focus is fostering a safe, creative, and routine focused space to approach and solve problems, and activities that allow your child to express themself. I love doing crafts, pretend play, nature exploration, encouraging independent time, and special outings when appropriate. In my personal time, I enjoy crocheting, weight lifting, baking, and game nights.
