About Carrie

I am offering care out of my home. My children are 9 yrs and 7 yrs and we have two dogs. We are a Waldorf inspired family and believe in a low tech/no tech environment as well as play based nature learning. We have both a daily and a weekly rhythm to instill a sense of dependability and predictability for the children. It is my goal to provide your child with emotional, educational, and social support in a loving and nurturing home atmosphere. I have been offering care out of my home for the past five years as well as babysitting some evenings and weekends for families as needed. I volunteered for six years with a non-profit group called Hike it Baby-encouraging families to get outdoors and create community. I also have previous experience working with adults (age18-21) with developmental disabilities and have volunteered with at-risk youth (ages 6-10).
