About Rachel

Stay at home mama offering care out of my home. I'm a previous elementary school teacher with over 20 years experience working with children + young people. I hold a MA in Elementary Ed + live with my daughter who is 6 years-old + off to 1st grade. We're a Waldorf-inspired family + believe in a low tech/no tech environment and play based, nature learning. We have daily + weekly rhythms to create a sense of predictability + dependability for the children. Soup day/Pasta Day/Bread baking day + Porridge day. It's my goal to provide a warm, safe, loving environment where your child is nurtured body, mind + spirit. We'll play in the beautiful yard under our Linden Tree, feed the chickens, make sand castles, go for nature walks, create art, sing songs + have weekly circle times with puppet shows. We also have seasonal festivals. I've been offering care out of my home for the last 2 years + it has been such a fun + beautiful experience.
