I am a 23-year-old female looking for a part time nanny/babysitting position. I have 10 years experience taking care of children. I'd like to say 13 years but taking care of my younger sister may not count as experience. I've been just an occasional babysitter as well as a out of home nanny as well as a live in nanny. Every position I've accepted I've kept well over a year, and I have references upon request. I have experience with newborn to 10 years old. What makes me a great nanny/babysitter, is that I plan out my time with your child well before that time is spent. If you have a newborn to 12-month-old I research (even with all experience) what I need to be looking for/what I should be spending time with. For 1 to 4-year-olds, I like to make educational and fun board and backyard games, reading time, maybe also a mixture of the two, making our own book and then reading it to the parents! I love crafts, playing and learning. Providing care for toddlers is my absolute favorite. I've also had many experiences providing care for 5 year olds and older children, but because this is the age where they are taking everything in and they know exactly what is going on around them, I'd like a slight briefing on the child.
