About Brittany

I like caring for seniors because I love hearing of their life experiences and drawing upon their wisdom. I am looking to care for someone during daytime hours, whether that is companion care, or ensuring they have their medications or other medical needs met. I can work with a home health company or hospice company as I have experience with both. I started caring for seniors when I was 18 and had graduated high school. My grandmother had Alzheimer's and my grandfather paid me to care for her. I continued working with him 17 years after that doing house and yard work until he himself was diagnosed with a terminal illness. At that point, I quit my corporate job to care for him full-time. In my spare time, I enjoy making recipes of all kinds of diets. I can make down home southern food, to anti-inflammatory food, to vegan food, and everything in between! I also love yoga. I am certified to teach, but I also love being a student. I love hikes and being outside in nature.
