About Brittany

As long as I can remember, I have always had a love and passion for serving and working with children. I am the oldest of four siblings, so my childcare career began as a teenager when I started babysitting my younger brother and sisters. This initial responsibility quickly grew into many more opportunities to serve and work with children in a variety of childcare capacities, both part-time and full-time. As I entered college, this passion for children continued to blossom as I decided to pursue education for my professional degree. In May 2010, I received my Master of Teaching and certification in Elementary Education (Pre-K-6), as well as a Endorsement of English as a Second Language (K-12). Following graduation, I served as a elementary teacher for the past three years. My child care and educational background has given me a wide-range of experiences with all different demographics and ages of children, but more importantly, these experiences have better equipped me to serve the needs of the whole child, whether they be personal or academic. Thus, I look forward to exploring the opportunity to utilize all my skills and gifts through a nanny position with your family.
