About Sofia

Hello! My name is Sofia, and I have five years of experience in education and childcare. I am seeking morning, weekend, and night opportunities, in addition to my work as an afternoon nanny for a 6yo and 8yo. It is very joyful and beautiful work- I love helping to ensure a safe and happy home, helping them explore and wonder, and seeing the world through their eyes. As a nanny, I have provided safe and happy childcare for up to five children at a time. As a paraprofessional, I have worked at the K-8 level with children who have learning and developmental difficulties. As an elementary school afterschool art teacher, I have guided groups of up to 20 children through the joy of artistic expression! And I have a lifetime of caring for my little cousins- I have spent many hours watching after my most shy and quiet cousins. I'm the one whom they trust the most to open up to and play with. I am trained in crisis intervention and first aid. I am CPR- and First Aid-certified.
