About Bridget

My first experience providing elderly care and companionship was in 2016 when I help a house management position that included childcare, housekeeping and the help caring for a elderly parent who was undergoing chemo. It was through this that I came to find that my patience and fulfilment in care taking also extended to elderly people. Caring for others is a character trait that requires a lot of patience, curiosity and attention to detail, all of which are things I count into my list of strength. Including my endless curiosity to hear about the lived experiences, and wisdom older people have gained. I don't have extensive experience in this area of things, and am genuinely looking forward to gaining more experience, and hopefully build meaningful relationships with the families I work with, as a means to aid the collaborative efforts needed to help meet the needs of the person's in my care.
