About Briana

Hi! My name is Briana, or as my students call me Ms. D. I have my undergraduate degree in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology. Following my undergrad, I worked full time with three families as a tutor in their home over the course of the 2021 school year. I provided academic and physical education supports so the students could maintain achievement in distance learning due to Covid. I have been also been a substitute teacher in both Reno NV and El Dorado County over the last four years so I know what is expected and required by students from Kindergarten to Senior year of high school. Lastly, I am to receive my Masters in Elementary Education this May and then have a classroom of my home in August. I am experienced, qualified, and have a natural ability to connect with students and explain things in a way that applies to them.
