About Brenda

I am a retired pre-kindergarten teacher. I taught for 19 years. I worked for 5 years in an infant center and preschool in CA. I have an associates in child development/early childhood education. I am CPR, infant CPR, medication, epi-pen, and first aid trained and certified. I wholeheartedly believe that children learn through play and screen time should be minimal. Children should be given opportunities to discover, create, build, make messes and get dirty. Then, clean it up and do it all over again! I am very knowledgeable about children's development and age appropriate activities. I am aware of growing infants, toddlers and preschoolers mile stones and what they should be learning and doing developmentally. I love to sing songs and make up new ones! I enjoy cooking, baking, outdoors, arts and crafts, and having fun. I am a multi-tasker with great organization skills. I believe in having a plan... but also being spontaneous! I am reliable, honest and trustworthy.
