About Benjamin

Hey there! I'm Ben. I graduated from Northwestern University, where I studied Political Science and Computer Science. I think kids are awesome, and I would love to take care of yours! Here's a few things about me: I was a camp counselor for two summers! I was responsible for the supervision, safety, and activity planning of 12+ campers. I managed camper relationships and all camper-specific needs, including homesickness, anxiety, and trauma. I love spending time outdoors with kids, bringing out their imaginative side to think of original games, and doing fun new kinds of arts & crafts. I was also a babysitter for several years! and I've supervised children ages 2-18 as a lifeguard, which required first aid and CPR certification. I'm most experience with kids ages 5-15, but I'm always open to caring for younger ages! I live in Northwest DC, but I'm happy to travel around the DMV.
