About Azra

My name is Azra, and I am a highly qualified infant/toddler nanny with a strong educational background in infant psychology, health, child development, and ECE. Originally from Bosnia and Herzegovina, I moved to the US in 2018 on an academic scholarship for college. I hold a degree in Psychology and am currently in graduate school. I am bilingual in Bosnian and English and fluent in German. I advocate for a science-based approach to childcare, and I like to stay up to date with academic literature in the field of developmental psychology. My practical experience complements my academic background. I have provided long-term care for nine children, aged 3 - 19 months, equipping me with hands-on experience that make me an invaluable resource for families seeking the highest standard of care for their children. In addition to my role as a private nanny, I have experience as a date night babysitter and as a lead teacher in an infant/waddler classroom at a local daycare center.
