I have a long history of babysitting, from watching my younger siblings who are 11 and 5 years old, to being a nanny for the past 3 years for an amazing family with a 4-year-old daughter and 12-month-old son. In high school I was enrolled in child development classes where I would spend time and take care of the children at the nearest daycare 5 days a week. I've been offered to go as far as Thailand to babysit for a a family friend while on vacation! I have taken care of children from early newborn up to preteens and I can truly say I have a great connection with kids as they do with me.
