About Aubrey

I genuinely love children. I have worked with kids for a long long time. I started helping with infants and toddlers when I was 12 in my church Sunday school. As an early teen, I took care of a 3-month-old for a summer and loved it so much. As I got older I continued to watch kids, help them get to bed, give them dinner, and truly enjoy their company! When I was in graduate school I worked for a company helping children with autism. After that I did part of my internship at a hospital helping in the pediatric unit and part at a preschool. I had so much fun even though some of the work was heartbreaking. I still think about all the kiddos I've worked with. Now in my 30s I have such baby fever I view every child as the most precious gift.
