About Ashley

I am a veteran school counselor with a vast capacity to care for and support others, young and old. I have worked with students of varied cognitive abilities ranging from neurotypical to neuro-atypical (students who are autistic, non-verbal and/or require toileting support/supervision). While my senior care experience extends only to those in my family, at this juncture; I believe my humanity and level of compassion for those requiring attention and support lend well to my potential for success in this position. I am open to consultations and or discussions with potential families. The caretaking role is quite a burden on any family. I possess this life experience and it was altogether rewarding, exhausting, and sorrowful (at the end). My purpose with this site is to provide support, an opportunity to rejuvenate from the day's requirements for said family members and most importantly, engagement and companionship, to the senior member(s) of the family.
