Hello! My name is Anne Marie Phelan, and I'm passionate about empowering students to unlock their full potential through education. With 7 years of experience in education both as a general education teacher and a special education teacher, I have honed effective strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and foster academic growth. I hold a degree in Elementary Education and Moderate Disabilities from Lesley University. My academic background equips me with a solid understanding of the subjects I tutor and allows me to provide comprehensive support to my students. I believe in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring new concepts. My teaching approach is tailored to each student's unique needs, incorporating interactive exercises, real-world examples, and visual aids to reinforce understanding. I specialize in tutoring in reading and math, I am trained in both Wilson and Orton Gillingham approaches.
