About Angelica

I am from Colombia and I got my degree as Registered Nurse there. Some of my skills include but not limited to: -Fluent in english and Spanish -Certified Medical Assistant -First Aid-Consistent communication -Problem solving-Steady under high stress situations -Patient and empathetic-Resourceful and detailed (meticulous) I moved to the USA 23 years ago where I spent the first 10 years taking care of my two children and family. I then started practicing Taekwondo with my children, during which I trained and earned my 3rd degree black belt and Instructor Certificate. Throughout this time, I became an academic accountability partner/nanny to a set of brothers, 9 and 12yo. I worked with both of these children in their family home throughout their academic year. After, looking to get back into healthcare -a passion of mine- I became a Certified Medical Assistant and worked in a Pediatric clinic for two years. Most recently I worked with the foster care system for 3 years.
