Hello! I'm Angela. I've been a dedicated multidisciplinary educator for 20 years. I've worked primarily with children age Pre-K through 6th grade, with experience with Junior students as well. I have specialized focus in tutoring, teaching, community integration and cognitive development with specialized needs populations in particular. I aim to create a warm, welcoming environment that also fosters rigor and joy in education. My philosophy is to foster a lifelong curiosity in the students I reach. 1. Worked with children in general education, as well as with students with IEP's for over 20 years. 2. I can develop and modify lessons based on students academic needs. 3. I have over 12 years academic tutoring experience working with students. Therefore, I have tutored students from different grade levels (K-8) at their various level of need. 4. I possess great organizational skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.

Angela is a sheer blessing to our family. It really did feel miraculous when we matched with her. In the age of COVID-19, it's really difficult to find people who share a similar interest in reducing exposure but with Angela, we saw eye to eye. More importantly than that she loves my daughter and my daughter loves her. I've watched my baby-girl go from failing first grade (mostly because of me not getting her work in on time) to 4th grade reading level and catch almost completely up in Math. Angela really does love my child like family and we see, hear and feel it everyday. I cannot recommend her enough!! She even loves and plays with my youngest son, bringing treats and gifts, while also giving him a chance to watch his big sister learn on Angela's lap. We pray that Angela continues to stay with us for awhile so don't go poaching after reading this review, but let me tell you now and you have a chance to work with her, you will NOT be disappointed at all! We love you Angela!
