I studied Psychology to help children like me, I am 24 years old, I struggle with ADHD every day, and I want to show parents that it is possible for their children to have balanced lives, with the help of therapy and in many cases, medication, like the one I take. I truly believe that a therapist who has not done "the work" themselves cannot help or connect in the same way that someone who has been through and deals with mental illness and has overcome its difficulties can. Because my difficulties are not severe and in fact mild, I can only imagine what others go through. This is my way of making a difference in this world. I am currently studying for my RBT certification, and that will give me the evidence-based practices to analyze and keep track of your child's development, as well as create a plan for rehabilitation using Applied Behavioral Analysis.
