About Ana

Experience: 8 yrs

COVID-19 vaccinated

As an experienced professional nanny with over 8 years of expertise, I have successfully cared for children of all ages, specializing in infants and toddlers. My driving record is flawless, and I have a clean criminal history. I don't smoke or drink, and my vaccinations, including Covid-19, are up-to-date. As a mother of two, I understand the importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment for children to thrive. I recently worked as a nanny for a family for over 2 years, caring for their child from infancy to preschool. I can provide references upon request. With my own car, I offer pick-up and drop-off services and can assist with household chores. I'm also available for occasional babysitting for movie nights. Please feel free to contact me for any nanny/babysitting job.

We hired Ana from May 2021 through August 2023. The last 2+ years with Ana and her kids have simply been the BEST. My daughter Z. was only 10 months old when Ana started working for us. At that time, we were keeping our social circle very limited due to Covid-19 and vaccines not being readily available. Ana bringing her 1.5 years old son J. along was instrumental for Z.’s development and her achieving early childhood milestones. Being a first-time mom, I was having trouble introducing different foods to Z. and making the mistakes first-time moms generally make. Thankfully, with Ana’s guidance and tips, we were able to get Z. eating proper meals, getting her on a schedule and wean her off feeding when she was 13 months old. After Ana joined, we realized how much we needed her and her support! As Z. started getting older, Ana started to take her and J. to the park. She bought a double stroller on her own so both kids could sit together and walk to the park. She also started taking kids to different libraries for story time and play areas. Ana would keep the kids engaged throughout the day with different activities like reading them books, playing with play doh, coloring, blowing bubbles or just running in the backyard. She would also coordinate with other nannies in the park to have easter parties or trick or treating for Halloween. Ana never made any differentiation between Z. or J. She always treated Z. like she was her own and looked after Z. at our home and in her home. When we had extended family visiting us and did not have enough room in the house, she was happy to take care of Z. at her home the whole day for the entire time. After they left, it would be one day at our home and one day at her home because Z. loved going to Ana’s home. Once a week, she would take kids out to a special place like zoo or some event and afterwards for lunch in a restaurant. By the time Z. was 2 years old, she knew how to count from 1 to 10, how to call out different colors in English and in Spanish. When it came to potty training Z. Ana was able to get her off the diapers in a month and Z was fully potty trained by her 2nd birthday. Full disclosure, if it wasn’t for Ana, I think Z. would still be wearing diapers. Z. also got to experience being around Ana’s elder daughter. Z. shares an amazing bond with Ana and her children and their presence in Z.’s life has been an absolute blessing. Ana is always on TIME. There has not been a single day in the last 2+ years when she ran late or did not message me beforehand of any change. If she had to take the day off or leave early someday, she would always give me heads up a few days before. During the Covid-19 uncertainty period and even after, she was always particular of making sure Z. does not get any illness. If ever she, J. or A. would not be feeling well she would message me first explaining the situation rather than just coming over. Ana also helped us with housework like doing the dishes, vacuuming the living room, deep cleaning the kitchen every now and then. Her assistance alleviated a great burden from my shoulders as I was able to sit and play with Z. after a long day of work rather than standing over the sink to wash dishes. Every now and then, she would bring us some Mexican food to enjoy. She is an amazing cook! As Z. is starting preschool, we have to let Ana go. We intend to hire Ana in the future for babysitting Z. or to become our nanny if ever we decide to have another child. We will miss seeing Ana and her children as they have become a regular fixture in our house. Though this is the end of an employer/employee relationship, our friendship is going to continue. Ana has a superb work ethic and all the qualities one would ask for in a nanny! She is an honest and responsible caregiver who puts all her efforts in looking after the child with love and sincerity. The bond Ana and Z. share is a testament on her amazing qualities as a caregiver. We highly recommend Ana as a nanny and a babysitter!
