About Ana

My experience as a nanny and babysitter began when I was 10 and has carried through for the last 13 years. I began as a full-time summer nanny with a 3-month-old while in high school and worked with the same family for 5 years. My experience working with children over the last six years focused primarily on literacy work and working with children on the autism spectrum. For two summers during college I worked with AmeriCorps and the Minnesota Literacy Council as a literacy tutor in schools, community centers and libraries. I have 2. 5 years of experience working in autism therapy centers doing play-based therapy with preschoolers, in-home therapy and teaching small groups. I am presently pursuing my Masters in Social Work at the University of MN and am gaining experience with trauma based therapy in early childhood. I love nothing more than spending my days working with children and am completely inspired and amazed by the children I've worked with.
